Kala Tempered Safety Glass is produced under modern technology of Tamglass Group of Finland, in which the glass is tempered via horizontal fluctuation. All the automated tempering procedure is programmed by leading experts of Tamglass. Mechanically saying, Kala Tempered Glass is highly resistant against forces exerting on the surface, which is three to four time greater than that of normal floating glass of the same type and thickness. Kala Tempered Glass is able to undergo heat shock (sudden temperature changes) of up to 150⁰C without breaking down while other normal glass shall break down upon temperature difference of about 50⁰C. Kala Glass is difficult to break; however, if that case happens, it shall break into tiny separated harmless particles with dull edge, thus causing little injury while the sharp broken pieces of the normal glass can.
